Abstract Submission Deadline : September 30, 2016
The submission of an abstract implies your consent of its publication in the Abstract Book and that the author is willing to participate in the Conference. All presenting authors of abstracts are expected to attend this meeting and register online by September 30, 2016.
Important information
- · Abstracts should be submitted online.
- · Abstracts should be written in English
- · If you are submitting more than one abstract you can use the same login for each abstract.
- · You can alter your abstracts at any time up to the deadline.
- · It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
- · No proofreading will be carried out, and no correction will be possible after the submission deadline.
Submission Process

· Go to the online submission system (http://icgsk.kgenetics.or.kr/symposium/submission.asp) when you have prepared your abstract, and fill out the Author Information and Abstract Information forms.
· After you fill out the required fields of the forms, upload your abstract file, then press “save” button.
- To revise the submitted abstracts, press the “Edit Abstract” below, or go directly to the LOGIN page (http://icgsk.kgenetics.or.kr/Symposium/Login.asp). You may also access the LOGIN page by pressing “confirm for Submission” button under the “Submit Abstracts” button located at the right bottom side of the Conference Homepage. To login, you will need the e-mail address and password you typed when you fill out the Author Information form. If you forgot the e-mail address and/or password, please contact the Society Secretariat at +82-2-554-3328 or kgenetics@kgenetics.or.kr.
- Notes: only one abstract can be submitted per e-mail address. If you want to submit multiple abstracts, please use distinct e-mail address for each abstract.
Guidelines for Abstract
- A. General information
- Our preferred file format is Microsoft Word .docx (or .doc). Entire text should be in Arial or Helvetica font of size 12 with 1.5 line spacing. For a sample abstract, please click here.
- B. Title

- - Use a concise title that indicates the content of the abstract.
- C. Authors & Affiliations

- - Write authors' full names.
- - Please use the preferred format of author affiliation. (name of department and institute, city, postal code, country) ex.
Department of Life Science, Hankook University, Seoul 10000, Korea
- D. Contents

- - Abstracts should not exceed 1,200 characters.
- - Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted and will not be edited in any way.
- - Contents may be organized as the author sees fit, though they should include the purpose of the study, the methods used,
a summary of the results and the conclusion reached.
- E. Keywords
- A minimum of five (5) keywords, summarizing the contents of the abstract, should be entered.
